Twitter 140-character limit?
Good news for all Twitter users 140-character limit will be lifted very soon according to the latest reports. New products such as OneShot will also allow users to publish longer content (OneShot allows you to share and highlight screenshots of text).
New options introduced in April
- “Retweet with comment” allowed users more space to express their opinion.
- In June the company also lifted the 140-character rule on private messages.
These new approaches guarantees Tweeter a more mainstream audience, attracts more engaged users who love to chat on and on. It should make Twitter an even more powerful and fun social platform.
Twitter users can now privately chat with each other in a more natural and comfortable way.
Tweets sent out publicly will not change. The elimination of the 140-character limit for direct messages is a big step toward making the private side of Twitter more impressive.
Also in the news, Twitter’s search for a new boss is over, they have appointed Jack Dorsey as the Chief Executive.
