Interestingly, this report has also said that a massive 87% of online shoppers do a comparison on Amazon before purchasing from any other retail site. Problems with retailers content or website has put online shoppers off. 97% have said they left without buying the product.
In another study, which consisted of 56,000 active global internet users, this showed that only 8% believed that information from social media is correct.
However, Governments are seen to be more trustworthy than most, with 12% of global internet users saying that they believed the information.
Artificial Intelligence marketing has risen from 43% usage in 2016 up to 88% this year.
Marketers say more budget is given as ROI increases
Recent research for Top Digital Marketing Stats shows that 17% of marketing budgets are used for email marketing.
The Data & Marketing Association also states that 74% of marketers have reported an increase in open email rates over the last year. 75% have reported an increase in click through rates. Whilst the opt-out of email rates have reduced say 41%. 55% of marketers have seen complaints with spam emails reduced.
A 10% increase since 2017 of marketers saying that their knowledge and ability of email marketing has improved.
