One key way is to utilise the campaign priorities feature. This feature works when you have two campaigns with overlapping product ranges.
In this instance, you can set one campaign as a priority, so that it’s bids take precedence. The clever part is when you combine this feature with negative keywords.
For example, by adding negative keywords to one of the two campaigns you can send filtered high-priority traffic to one campaign, with a higher bid, than to the other. Lower quality traffic will then flush through to the other one.
