The social media giant Facebook is the site of the engagement. Data released by the social media site’s marketing page revealed, not surprisingly, just how addicted people are to the site. The page released an infographic in order to show advertisers how they have got a captive audience on the social media site, illustrating Facebook’s high level of engagement, membership, and return on investment. Facebook is responsible for promoting 3.2 billion ”likes” and comments per day. There are 955 million active users per month who spend 6 hours and 35 minutes per month on the platform.
Data shows that the massive social media network Facebook, holds people for twice as long as Google. It is twice as achieved by Google (3h 20min) and well over Yahoo! (2h07min) and Microsoft (1h55min).
The site also says that its presence on mobile devices increased by 67% in one year, to 543 million active users per month. In addition, data revealed that 58 percent of users return to the site daily.
In an analysis of more than 60 Facebook marketing campaigns, 49% reported a return on investment of more than five times, while 70% had a return on investment greater than three times.
