Many organizations are adding on a few pounds to the postage just to improve their margin. But is it acceptable today?

Pricing of postage and shipping time can be a point which frustrates many customers. All e-commerce sites should build trust with users and overpriced postage or careless dispatch of one order can ruin all the hard work.
As a customer I certainly would expect some form of free delivery no matter what it is I’m ordering, at least if the order is large enough to cover it. From the sellers point of view, another option is to incorporate the cost of delivery into the product prices themselves. Unfortunately it can make their products be seen as expensive during the comparison process.
It is very controversial issue and make many customers feel emotional over the subject.
Most still think postage should be seen as a way to show good customer service, and not a way to make profit in a sneaky way.
