New Facebook Video Ads In News Feeds

Facebook Video Ads are here. As has been said so many times previously, content is king. It could be a new post for your blog, an infographic, a Facebook post, tweet, image on Instagram, it doesn’t matter but creating content that interests people will help attract visitors and convert customers.

 

Introducing Facebook Video Ads for News Feeds

Facebook has been very active lately with its social advertisement platform and it has now taken this a step further and will introduce video advertisement in users news feeds as soon as next month.

The first round of testing is likely to involve Ford, Coca Cola and American Express.

The ads themselves will be up to 15 seconds long and will be shown on the side bar, muted by default but playing automatically. Whether this is a good or a bad thing for marketers is still in debate with the potential for Facebook users to become alienated with users already complaining about cluttered posts and pages full of sponsored links everywhere.

Only time will tell whether Facebook will turn into an advertisers dream or just an online version of the Yellow Pages.
