Mobile Optimisation A Top Priority For Online Retailers

The massive popularity of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets has made it necessary for online retailers to learn quickly.

In 2013, online retailers are looking at prioritising site and mobile optimisation so as to further improve the online shopping experience. They hope to use technology to help them drive web conversion and customer loyalty across the entire range of shopping platforms.

Results of a survey show that 51% of online retailers intend to focus this year on site improvement, paying attention to areas such as checkout optimisation, alternative payment methods and user experience etc.

In addition, 43% stated that mobile and tablets were included on the list of their top three priorities for 2013.
