Landing Pages Ideas

Today we continually seeking new ideas for landing pages. There are many new inspirations.

The main rule is keep simple. Landing pages should have:

  • main image,
  • headline/subhead that communicates UVP,
  • call to action. Study shows that CTA buttons which are contrasting in color convert better. CTA should not be intimidating, and not open-ended.
  • logo where the visitor can click to go to the website homepage,
  • marketers should focus on ROTI (return on time invested).

More than half of the visitors spend less then 15 seconds on the website. This is the reason why it is so important to have clear images.

High quality imagery is a key factor.

 

Marketers should resize the image by themselves. Compress the image in PhotoShop. Experiment with different image file types (PNG vs. JPG). Leverage page caching as much as possible.

Also, social proof is very important. Service and products have to be credible. It can come in all kinds of forms:

  • video,
  • case study,
  • review,
  • ratings,
  • number of customers who use your product or service,
  • statistics,
  • written response or comment.

  • See It In Action etc.
