The Importance of Landing Pages

One of the most common mistakes made in Pay Per Click strategies is to not link to a properly designed Landing Page, but instead link to a generic home page or registration page.

Its important to design the landing page so that it is smooth, easy and intuitive to continue as the user expects when clicking on an advert.

Confusing pages full of links are not a good idea. They should therefore also relate to where the potential visitor needs to be in the buying cycle. A profiled landing page can also apply to certain visitors based on whether they have registered, which country they are from and so forth, to further improve the conversion potential by improving the experience for the visitor.
