Google SOS Bad AD Struggle.
Did you hear about Google latest plans?
This search engine changed global standards for online ads that improve audience experience. Coalition For Better Ads published an initial draft of Better Ads Standards for desktop and mobile. Wall Street Journal reported in Apri that this search giant was planning to add an ad-blocking feature to Chrome.
This search giant wont be showing ads (including those owned or served by Google) on websites that are not compliant with the Better Ads Standards starting in early 2018.
Ad Experience Report helps publishers understand how the Better Ads Standards apply to their own websites.
Google is starting to identify sites with problems:
- firstly, pop-up ads on desktop and mobile are problematic
Publishers should see if their websites have been reviewed by the Ad Experience Report. It’s worth noting that of the approximately 100,000 sites this search engine has reviewed so far, less than 1% (700) are said to need corrective action.
