Google Right Sidebar Disaster
Google confirm removal of right sidebar ads last month. This change bring panic and anxiety among search industry. Everywhere you can hear speculation how much CPCs would skyrocket.
Even Perry Marshall cried “DANGER,” calling it the biggest Google AdWords shakeup in more than 10 years and warned: “Your strategy for Google AdWords is going to totally change.”
Every change to the Google SERP has winners and losers. Most advertisers are responding well to the change. There Cpc’s remained rather flat. The defeated end up at the bottom of the page (position 8-11).
Fortunately the average global data is standing still. Winners hold themselves accountable for what happens in their businesses and don’t blame Google and external factors. They always learn and are always looking for new ways to challenge themselves.
