Bing Social Sidebar Gets New Look
Bing have recently rolled out a new streamlined design for its social sidebar feature, making it easier to find people who are relevant to your search based on what they have shared, tweeted, or publically blogged about.
You can now see what friends, experts and enthusiasts from leading networks including Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare and Klout have shared in a glance. The sidebar will remain off to the right of the search results, giving you the option of deciding when and how to interact with it.
The company has made some changes to the design, such as the removal of the need to hover over a friend to see additional content. You can now see with one glance, content front and centre clearly marked “social results”. The results have been left-justified so there is less blank space on the page.
If you want to see additional social results, the company have now added a “+ see all” icon that lets you explore more information.
